I find it funny and annoying how my parents don’t understand the business side of photography. I’ve been in this industry for 8 months and in the photography world that is nothing. They keep telling me “You need to charge people” but what they don’t understand is that we do get paid, in photos in a model’s time. The models I work with get paid with photos, they’re also spending they’re own money on gas and whatever else they need. Its called TRADE but they never understand it. You need to walk before you can run. No matter how many times I try to explain it to them they’ll never understand. 

I’m so incredibly excited, with two shoots confirmed and possibly one or two more this summer. This really is a dream come true :,)
